Rewoven
Fashion as a bridge between
two continents
What is Rewoven?
Sustainability first
Every piece is designed with longevity and responsibility in mind, fashion that honors the earth and the hands that made it.
Afro-Latin diaspora artistry
We amplify the voices of designers across the African diaspora and Latin America, cultures too often overlooked in mainstream fashion.
Real economic impact
We amplify the voices of designers across the African diaspora and Latin America, cultures too often overlooked in mainstream fashion.
Rewoven is a cross-Atlantic fashion and cultural exchange initiative. We advocate for sustainable clothing design that highlights the creativity and craft of designers in West Africa, starting with Nigeria, while connecting them with artists and institutions in the United States.
The roadmap
Phase 1 — Launch the shirts
February 2026 (Black History Month). U.S. artists design. Nigerian artisans produce. We ship and sell globally via our Shopify store.
Phase 2 — Study abroad
Summer 2027. Take 5–7 students to Enugu, Nigeria to collaborate with local textile artisans at SLANG Global's El Centro Cultural Azúcar.
Phase 3 — Expand the collection
Grow beyond shirts. Partner with more designers. Reach more diaspora communities. Build a living, breathing fashion exchange.
